Digital Billboard & DOOH Hardware Manufacturer

Digital Billboard & DOOH LED Displays

JDX TECH is a digital billboard and DOOH LED display manufacturer. We supply LED display hardware and help define the control-system requirements for outdoor advertising projects — we do not sell advertising space or airtime.

If you are looking to buy ad space, you need a media owner. If you are building, replacing or expanding a screen — new build, screen replacement or network rollout — you are in the right place.

Site-Specific Brightness
Confirm daylight readability, dimming and local night-time limits
Outdoor Protection
Confirm front/rear protection, ambient conditions and model-specific test evidence
Service Planning
Agree service access, compatible spares and replacement procedures

Supply Scope

Define the scope of your DOOH hardware package

JDX TECH supplies LED display hardware for media owners, billboard contractors and integrators. Confirm the deliverables and exclusions for your project in the quotation.

LED panels and cabinets

Confirm the selected cabinet family, dimensions, resolution, operating duty, brightness controls and environmental rating. Compare the outdoor LED display range for the applicable hardware options.

Control equipment and software

Specify sending and receiving hardware, processor, media player and the intended CMS. Confirm supplied equipment, licenses, configuration work and compatibility tests separately.

Structure, power and local works

Define mounting interfaces and hardware accessories. Agree whether structural design, steelwork, electrical installation, permits and on-site commissioning are provided by local partners or included in another scope.

Inspection, shipping and support

Itemize factory inspection, configuration files, compatible spares, packing, shipping and agreed technical support. Review advertising LED display planning for related deployment considerations.

Site Engineering

Specify an outdoor display for the actual site

Brightness, weather exposure, thermal management and service access must be checked together. Confirm the selected model and project configuration in the quotation.

Daylight and night-time brightness

Describe orientation, shading, surrounding lighting and operating hours. Agree the brightness range, automatic dimming and fail-safe settings. Confirm local advertising and night-time brightness requirements with the site operator.

Weather and thermal conditions

State the local temperature range, rain, dust and salt-air exposure. Request the selected cabinet’s front and rear ingress-protection information and test evidence. Plan ventilation, drainage and corrosion protection for the installation.

Structure and site approvals

Share mounting height, site photos and structural drawings. Local qualified professionals should verify wind loading, foundations or existing supports, electrical requirements and permits. Define who supplies the structure and performs installation.

Maintenance access

Confirm whether service is from the front or rear, working space and safe access equipment. Itemize replaceable modules, power supplies, receiving cards and compatible spares; agree fault diagnosis and replacement procedures.

Application Fit

Match the DOOH display format to its location

Use these site types to prepare a brief. Pitch and brightness should be selected from the actual content, viewing conditions and available products rather than a universal format table.

Roadside and large-format billboard

Confirm closest and typical viewing distances, viewing angle, content detail, daylight exposure and local roadside restrictions. Review the outdoor LED billboard specification page before requesting the site-specific configuration.

Building and media facade

Define mounting interfaces, service access, visual openness, screen dimensions and weather exposure. Compare the outdoor LED display range with LED mesh screens where openness is part of the design brief.

Retail windows and entrances

Check closest viewing position, direct sunlight, reflections, indoor/outdoor exposure and whether visibility through the glass must be maintained. Review commercial display planning and the transparent LED display for relevant options.

Multi-site networks

Record the size and conditions of every location. Use compatible cabinet families where appropriate, and confirm controller, player and CMS requirements before standardizing the bill of materials. Different sites may require different configurations.

Budget Planning

Compare the complete digital billboard project budget

Hardware, site works and ongoing operation have different costs. Request a quotation with clear inclusions and exclusions so supplier offers can be compared on the same basis.

LED hardware

Screen area, resolution, cabinet configuration, components and spares affect the hardware price. Confirm the bill of materials rather than comparing an isolated price per square metre.

Structure and civil works

Allow for site-specific mounting, foundations or building interfaces and the engineering required by local professionals. Existing supports may need assessment before a replacement screen is ordered.

Electrical and control

Include power distribution, cabling and protective equipment, plus processors, players, connectivity and software licenses where required. Specify the responsibility for installation and configuration.

Installation and commissioning

Account for site access, lifting equipment, mounting, alignment, control testing and local labor. Describe any access restrictions and agree who performs each acceptance test.

Packing, shipping and delivery

Compare packed dimensions and weight, delivery destination, shipping terms and any customs or local delivery costs. Confirm the delivery schedule and which charges are included.

Ongoing operation

Estimate energy under the expected brightness and operating schedule. Include preventive maintenance, spare parts, access costs and software subscriptions where applicable. A project’s cost mix varies with its site and operating plan.

Network Operation

Plan control, maintenance and future expansion

A multi-screen rollout needs a documented operating workflow. Hardware selection should support that workflow and each site’s physical requirements.

Player and CMS compatibility

Name the intended CMS, media player, controller and content formats. Confirm scheduling, remote access and connectivity responsibilities with the integrator, and test the proposed combination before a larger rollout.

Fault handling and monitoring

Define what happens when connectivity, a player, a power supply or a signal path fails. Identify monitoring and backup features that are included, optional or supplied by another provider. Agree the escalation and recovery procedure.

Calibration and compatible spares

Keep configuration files, batch identifiers and calibration records. Confirm replacement compatibility and re-calibration procedures. A lifetime rating alone does not guarantee color or brightness matching after years of use.

Expansion and handover

Start with a representative site or pilot where practical. Document cabinet mapping, wiring, control settings and maintenance training. Retain an approved hardware list before ordering future batches.

Quote Preparation

What to send for a useful digital billboard quote

A complete brief helps separate the display hardware from site works, software and ongoing operation.

Site and content brief

Send the country/city, site photos, screen width and height, mounting height, closest viewing distance, orientation and sample content. State whether the project is a new installation, replacement or network expansion.

Utilities and access

Provide electrical supply, network connection, structure drawings where available, and front/rear maintenance space. Describe the local installation team’s scope and any access restrictions.

Commercial scope

Confirm quantity, delivery destination and required date. Request separate items for cabinets, control hardware, accessories, spares, packing, shipping and support. Identify structure, civil works, software licenses and installation as included or excluded.

Acceptance evidence

Agree inspection requirements for dimensions, image uniformity, pixel defects, brightness settings, protection documents and control compatibility. Record the factory tests, on-site commissioning responsibilities and warranty conditions in writing.

Buyer Questions

DOOH and digital billboard procurement questions

DOOH means digital out-of-home: digital advertising displays in public spaces.

Do you sell advertising airtime?

JDX TECH supplies LED display hardware. Advertising airtime and audience packages are arranged with media owners. For a hardware inquiry, send the site information, screen dimensions and installation brief.

How bright should the screen be?

The required brightness depends on sunlight, orientation, surrounding light, content and local rules. Confirm daytime readability and night-time dimming for the selected model instead of specifying the highest number for every site.

Can a display use our existing CMS?

Share the CMS, player and control hardware names and required workflow. Compatibility must be checked and tested with the proposed system; it should not be assumed from a general “CMS integration” claim.

What affects the total budget?

Besides LED cabinets, account for structure, power, control equipment, software, local installation, shipping, energy and maintenance. Costs vary by site; compare quotations using the same inclusions and exclusions.

Specifying a digital billboard or DOOH network?

Send us the site type, viewing distance and target screen size, and we will come back with the matching format and hardware package.
