Application Fit
Stage LED systems for different event workflows
Temporary deployments share some requirements, but each project needs its own mounting, content and operating plan.
Concerts and touring
Plan the main backdrop, side screens and viewing positions together. Confirm repeat assembly, transport protection and the camera workflow required by the production team.
Corporate events and conferences
Presentations and close-view audiences require careful resolution planning. For a permanent auditorium, compare a fine pitch LED display against temporary rental cabinets.
Exhibitions and product launches
Match the modular layout to booth space, access, content and available electrical supply. Confirm packing, build schedule and any interaction requirements as separate parts of the project.
Broadcast and recorded events
Share the intended cameras, frame rate, shutter settings and studio layout. Request a configuration test. Virtual-production features and tracking integration require a separate technical assessment.
Deployment Planning
Design for assembly, transport and service
Specify the complete system that your team will handle at each event.
Cabinet handling and assembly
Confirm cabinet dimensions, weight, locking method, corner protection and compatible stacking or hanging accessories for the selected model. Include an assembly demonstration or documented sequence in acceptance.
Curved and creative layouts
Share the proposed geometry before ordering. Confirm supported curve angles, connectors, mounting accessories and content mapping for the selected cabinet family.
Indoor and outdoor configurations
Specify weather exposure, ambient light and storage conditions. Verify the selected cabinet’s protection and brightness range; indoor and outdoor configurations should not be assumed interchangeable.
Repeat deployment and repairs
Agree inspection, cleaning and storage practices with the supplier. Keep compatible spare modules, power supplies and receiving cards, plus configuration and calibration records for the system.

Choose a rental system for your deployment workflow
JDX TECH supplies LED display hardware to rental companies, AV production teams and integrators. Choose the cabinet family against your actual deployment brief.
Star Series rental LED display
Review the Star Series rental LED display for temporary stage walls. Confirm the selected cabinet size, pitch, service access, locking system and compatible accessories in the quotation.
Lyra Series portable rental LED screen
Compare the Lyra Series portable rental LED screen when transport and repeated assembly are central to the project. Ask for the packing layout, cabinet weight and spare-part list for your configuration.
Fixed corporate venues
For permanent auditoriums with close-view presentation content, compare the fine pitch LED display. Permanent and touring installations have different service and mounting requirements.
Concert planning resources
Use the concert LED screen buying guide to prepare your brief. Send the proposed wall dimensions, audience layout and camera requirements with your inquiry.
Procurement Checklist
What to confirm before purchasing a stage LED screen
A useful proposal covers the whole deployment, not only pixel pitch. Final specifications depend on the selected model and agreed project configuration.
Viewing distance and content
Confirm the closest audience position, wall width and height, and the smallest text or image detail to be shown. Review a content sample at the proposed resolution; guest count alone does not determine screen area or pitch.
Indoor, outdoor and camera use
Describe daylight exposure, rain risk and recording needs. Confirm the selected cabinet protection and brightness range. Camera results depend on shutter settings, frame rate, scan and processor configuration as well as refresh rate; request a test with the intended camera.
Rigging and installation
Specify hanging or ground support, mounting height and available structure. Have the venue or qualified installation team verify loading, stability and local requirements. Include approved accessories, cable routing and the setup sequence in the scope.
Power, signal and backup
Confirm available electrical supply, distribution, maximum load and cable lengths. Define the video sources and processor requirements, plus the response to a signal or power fault. Backup capabilities must be itemized rather than assumed.
Transport, maintenance and spares
Agree flight-case capacity, packed dimensions, total shipping weight, replacement modules and service tools. Confirm batch compatibility, calibration files and the procedure for replacing damaged parts between events.
Delivery and acceptance
Confirm the delivery destination and required date, packing and shipping scope, warranty terms and support arrangements in writing. Agree tests for image uniformity, pixel defects, controls, assembly and the intended camera workflow before dispatch.
Buyer Questions
Questions rental companies ask before an event LED quote
Share the intended applications and deployment conditions so different options can be compared on the same basis.
Which pitch should I choose?
Use the closest audience distance, screen dimensions and content detail to shortlist a pitch. There is no single best pitch for every concert. Ask for the model-specific resolution and review text, graphics and camera shots before approving the specification.
Does a high refresh rate guarantee flicker-free video?
A high refresh rate helps, but it does not guarantee every camera result. Test the selected panel and processor at the intended frame rate and shutter settings, including low-brightness scenes.
How quickly can the wall be assembled?
Assembly time depends on wall size, access, rigging, crew and cable layout. Ask for the assembly method and installation requirements for the selected system; agree the setup schedule with the local production team.
What should a quote include?
List cabinets, modules, processor and receiving cards, cables, mounting accessories, flight cases, spares, packing, shipping and agreed support. Request exclusions and warranty conditions so offers can be compared fairly.
